How to Consign

  1. Call the Stuff Etc® Quality Consignment Store nearest you to make an appointment. Furniture does not need an appointment. Bring your furniture to us 7 days a week.
  2. Sort through your items.
    1. Each Stuff Etc store takes the last 2 years of style of clothing and accessories. Household items must be clean and in working order. All battery-operated items must have working batteries in them.
    2. We accept items on a seasonal basis. Check our consigning calendar to see when your items are accepted.
  3. Place your sorted items in 2 bags (13 gallon or smaller) or 2 boxes (21 gallon or smaller) and bring them in at your scheduled appointment time.
  4. Our staff prices your items while you wait in our store. We will give back to you any items we feel are not saleable and we will give you a list of the items we entered on your account.
  5. When your items sell money accumulates on your account until you choose to come and collect the money. You may also use the money to purchase items in our store.
  6. Our computer systems are not connected to one another. If you use multiple locations you will have a different consignor account number for each store.

Once items sell, 40% of the sale is added to your account. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your item to be processed.

Each Stuff Etc store reserves the right to refuse donations: including clothing not in current fashion or in poor condition (fashion more than 2 years old; clothing with tears, missing buttons, stains, etc.). Other donation, including but not limited to appliances, electronics and tools, must be in good working order. Click here to see list of stuff we don't take.
