STUFF ETC® AND CONSIGNOR AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF CONSIGNMENT:

  1. Consignor will receive 40% of the final sale price as listed on their account.  A buyers fee is added to the price tag of each item and will not be reflected on your inventory list.  This is a fee incurred by the customer to offset the expenses of processing.
  2. A one-time $5 fee will be deducted from your account.
  3. Stuff Etc accepts consignments by appointment Monday thru Saturday.  A limit of 2 medium size bags or 2 medium sized boxes per day.  Furniture does not need an appointment and is accepted 7 days a week.  Stuff Etc recyclable shopping bags are accepted Monday thru Saturday.  Bags will be entered within 24 hours of drop off.
  4. Unaccepted items will be returned to consignors who have appointments.  Items will be available for pickup until 10 minutes prior to closing on the day of consignor’s appointment.  Stuff Etc recyclable shopping bag givebacks will be available for 48 hours after drop off.
  5. Items must be: clean, current styles, no garage sale stickers, free of odor, in season.  Check website or in-store signs for consignment standards.
  6. Consignors are responsible in providing the correct consignor number.  Consignors will have a different account number at each Stuff Etc store.
  7. Stuff Etc reserves the right to remove from inventory any item at anytime that is not saleable without notifying the consignor.
  8. Consignor’s items will be priced at the discretion of Stuff Etc, but we encourage your input.
  9. Consignors items will be reduced in price for the following reasons:
    1. Store specials, coupons, semi-annual sales
    2. Standard markdowns: 60 days 50% of, 90 days 80% off
    3. After 120 days items become property of Stuff Etc
  10. Consignors may buy back any unsold item off their account for 10% of the original price.
  11. Stuff Etc reserves the right to charge a disposal fee for unsalable furniture and appliances left in our store.
  12. Only names listed on the consignor account can pick up money or use money to make purchases in our store.  Persons collecting or using money must have a photo id.  Consignor has 2 years to collect money or it becomes property of Stuff Etc.  $2.50 will be charged to mail a consignor a payout check.
  13. Stuff Etc is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed items.  Reasonable care will be taken to prevent such losses.
  14. Failure to follow the above policies will result in Stuff Etc employees dealing with your items at our discretion.
